CNC Machining

Apeks Soltek Pvt. Ltd. are able to offer CNC machined fasteners according to drawings and specifications within Our in-house machine facility supplying product on time delivery. All parts can be accompanied with certifications If required. Materials are sourced through our network of suppliers. All our CNC machines are from which help us to build quality in any kind of precision fasteners needed.

CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. The process can be used to control a range of complex machinery, from grinders and lathes to mills and routers

Centerless Grinding Centerless Grinding Machine cnc machining fasteners

Centerless Grinding

Apeks Soltek Pvt. Ltd. uses Centerless grinder equipment to make fasteners. One of the process to manufacturing fasteners components. The Advantages of Centerless Grinding

  • Smoother Finishes
  • Tighter Tolerances
  • Straighter Line
  • Vent and Drain arrangement can be provided on request.
  • Anti- Blow out Stem.

Drilling & Tapping Fasteners Drilling & Tapping Machinedrilling and tappingfastener
Drilling & Tapping

Self-drilling screws eliminate the need for a pilot hole, but can tap as well. Self-tapping screws tap their own threads, but cannot drill through metal and require a pilot hole. These screws are not interchangeable, and mixing up the two can cause many headaches or possible failures in the field

  • Drilling Machine – 3 Nos.
  • Drilling and Tapping – 1 Nos.

Punching Machine
Punching Machine

Most common in industry are large computer-controlled punch press, called a CNC. These most commonly are of the 'turret' or 'rail' variety. These machines use hydraulic as well as pneumatic power to press the shape with enough force to shear the metal

Induction HardeningInduction Hardening
Induction Hardening

Fasteners are first hardened and tempered to grade in belt or batch furnace systems. The induction process hardens all lead threads and 1 – 3 full threads to specified hardness at depth.

Hardening and Tempering
Hardening and Tempering

In the quench and temper hardening process, steel fasteners are first heated up to a temperature where their structure is converted into austenite and then quenched or rapidly cooled in water, oil or air to crystal structures that transform to martensite. Hardening involves controlled heating to a critical temperature dictated by the type of steel (in the range 760-1300 C) followed by controlled cooling. Tempering involves reheating the hardened tool/die to a temperature between 150-657 C, depending on the steel type

Plating
Plating

Plating occurs when a metal is deposited on a conductive surface. In order for the process to be executed effectively, the plating material must be coated on another metal. Plating is nothing new. It has been around for hundreds of years, and it's not just used on screws

phosphating
Phosphating

Manganese Phosphating Method
Manganese phosphate coating is also a conversion coating, involves dissolution of a manganese salt crystal over the surface of a metal fasteners in reaction with phosphoric acid in presence of catalyst

Blackodising
Blackodising

Chemical Blacking is sometimes referred to as 'Blackening' or 'Blackodising and is a conversion coating meaning that where in other metal finishing processes a layer is added above the substrate, here a coating is achieved through a chemical reaction between the ferrous metal and the oxidising salts used in the black.
